Educators, audio boffins, music students, remixers and tweakers; welcome to the CC sMASH website.
We are all about sharing audio content for YOU to mash up and create new work.
The Loops and samples on this site are user generated (contributed by humans just like you) and you are free to download them to make new music under the conditions of the Creative Commons licence agreement that the artist has contributed the material. This allows you to decide how material you generated is allowed to be re-used. Generally speaking, you can rework material on this site as long as it’s not for profit and you give credit to the creators of the elements you work with. The best and easiest way to do this is through the CC sMASH site; join up and upload the works you create with loops from this site.
You can even create your own loops and samples for others to mash up… go on… it is excellent karma!
